The Alocasia Regal Shield Albo is admired for her enormous velvety shield-shaped leaves, beautifully decorated with crisp white variegation, with some leaves displaying silver, pink and even purple tones. Every new leaf unfolds with a completely unique pattern, making this one of the most spectacular variegated Alocasia available. A hybrid between Alocasia Odora and Alocasia Reginula, she combines impressive size with remarkably fast growth. An extremely rare plant that effortlessly becomes the centrepiece of any collection.

Care Guide

Give your Regal Shield Albo plenty of bright, indirect light to support strong growth and vibrant colours. Alocasias thrive in slightly moist soil, but don’t like wet feet! Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil starts to feel dry. During spring and summer, feed your Alocasia at half strength with a balanced houseplant fertiliser every two weeks. Your Alocasia loves high humidity, so aim for 60-80% where possible, while maintaining good airflow around the leaves. Only repot when your plant becomes root-bound, moving up to a pot around 3 cm wider in diameter. Always use a light, airy and well-draining soil mix in a pot with drainage holes to keep its roots happy.
