Care Guide

Give your Ficus Lyrata Variegata plenty of bright, indirect light to support strong growth and vibrant colours. Ficus prefer their soil to dry slightly between waterings and don’t like soggy conditions! Water when the top layer of soil feels dry. During spring and summer, feed your Ficus at half strength with a balanced houseplant fertiliser every two weeks to support healthy new growth. Ficus adapt well to average household humidity, but will appreciate levels of 60% or higher where possible, with good airflow around the leaves. Only repot when your plant becomes root-bound, moving up to a pot around 3 cm wider in diameter. Always use a light, airy and well-draining soil mix in a pot with drainage holes to keep its roots happy.
