Give your Cyrtosperma Johnstonii plenty of bright, indirect light to support strong growth and vibrant colours. Cyrtospermas prefer their soil to stay lightly and consistently moist, but don’t like soggy conditions! Water when the top layer of soil starts to feel dry. During spring and summer, feed your Cyrtosperma with a balanced houseplant fertiliser every two weeks to support strong new growth and those impressive leaves. Cyrtospermas appreciate higher humidity, so aim for 60% or higher where possible, with good airflow around the leaves. Only repot when your plant becomes root-bound, moving up to a pot around 3 cm wider in diameter. Always use a well-draining soil mix that holds some moisture without staying wet, in a pot with drainage holes to keep its roots happy.
