Give your Musa Ae Ae Kuikawa plenty of bright, indirect light to support strong growth and vibrant colours. Musas prefer their soil to stay lightly and consistently moist, especially during active growth! Water when the top layer of soil starts to feel dry, while avoiding soggy conditions. Musas are famously fast growers, so during spring and summer, feed your plant with a balanced houseplant fertiliser every two weeks to fuel all those big new leaves. Musas appreciate higher humidity, so aim for 60% or higher where possible, with good airflow around the leaves. Only repot when your plant becomes root-bound, moving up to a pot around 3 cm wider in diameter. Always use a well-draining soil mix that holds some moisture without staying wet, in a pot with drainage holes to keep its roots happy.
